DRUMSTAR OF THE MONTH
Each month we will be announcing 'Drumstars of the Month'.
How do you become a 'Drumstar of the Month'??
We like to give all of our students goals after each lesson to keep them interested in their new acclaimed Art..
At the end of each month our instructors will get together and decide which of their student's has put in the most effort and improvement.
If you are lucky enough to become a 'Drumstars of the Month'then you may be grabbing a nice little reward..!!
The first 'Drumstars of the Month' will be announced end of April 2011 and then be ongoing.
January 2012
Our Congratulations go out to Cheryl Adams, Alice Robinson and Cameron Short who have been named Drumstars of the month for January
Cheryl has been coming for lessons for a couple of year now as a full time mother and wife with a full time job she always seems to impress, her natural ability and cool calm playing bagged her this award, Alice has only been working with Phil for a few month and with her practice and hard work has impressed Phil no end saying she is turning into a great young player. Cameron's attendance, work ethic, practice and hard work has payed of for him as takes this award from Amys 22 students.
December 2011
Our Congratulations go out to Dylan Thompson, Sean Thomas and Chris Dagg who have been named Drumstars of the month for December
Dylan has been coming for lessons for a few year now and has managed to bag the drumstars of the month a 2nd time for his continued effort, concentration and work ethic, having just turned 9 he began work on his Grade 4 last week with the view to sit the exam by summer. Sean has made some great improvements of late having really impressed his teacher Phil, if he continues to stick in and practice I am sure he will keep being rewarded for his efforts both from drumstars and in his own level of playing, and finally Chris has continued to practice, challenge himself and listen also making some great waves really impressing his teacher Amy along the way.

November 2011
Our Congratulations go out to Harry Loftus, Luke Haggerston and Hayden Evershed who have been named Drumstars of the month for November
Harry has been coming for lessons for two month now, when he first joined us he was already a good player however his reading has gone from strength to strength and his playing is simply getting better and better, Luke is also a new addition to our family however with dedication hard work and plenty of practice he has impressed his teacher Amy no end. Finally Hayden is Phil's drumstars of the month and with his hard working approach and practice he has blown Phil's socks off, These three new comers have really impressed us and we hope for more of the same in the future.

October 2011
Our Congratulations go out to Deacon Hartle , Graham Niven and Mitchell Proud who have been named drumstars of the month for October.
Deacon is one our longest serving drumstars his attendance is fantastic, he always listens, concentrates and practices always surprising Wez with his work ethic, we feel his confidence and his playing has took a step up since a couple of recent performances inc a great performance at our recent drumstars event, Graham has been attending our Sunday session for a while now and is constantly impressing his teacher Phil with his amount of practice and improvement made with the varied styles they cover, Mitchell has also took a great leap forward lately joining a band and putting his awesome talents displayed at our showcase night into practice impressing not just his teacher Amy but all the guys and girls at Drumstars.

Our Congratulations go out to Dylan Thompson, Harry Nicol and Matty Graham who have been named drumstars of the month for September
Dylan has been attending drumstars for around 16 month now and at the young age of seven is a great player and a pleasure to teach, he practices every day, he listens while in lessons and is always looking to improve, challenge himself and pick up something new. Harry if the first drumstars pupil to bag this award for a second time but when you see him play you understand why, if a few more drumstars put his effort, practice and determination in they might also bag this award. Matty is quite new to drumstars but has really impressed his teacher Phil with his hard work, effort and overall fast work rate,

August 2011:
Our Congratulations go out to Adam Welsh, Stuart McGivern and Matthew Cooke who have been named drumstars of the month for August
Adam has only been coming to us for a couple of month now but has shown great passion and belief in want he can do and also what he wants to do and become, if he keeps going the way he has started he will be a fantastic player. Stuart came to us a while back now for a laugh and to simply relieve stress however has become a serious contended as a great drummer and a fantastic guy who is a pleasure to have on board at drumstars, Matthew has also been attending our Sunday lessons for a while now and of late due to a lot of hard work and practice has massively impressed both his teacher Phil and the other guys @ drumstars HQ

July 2011:
Our Congratulations go out to George Rowan, Stephen Clough and Fynn Manning who have been named drumstars of the month for July
Georgehas really impressed us in the last month takng his drumming from the teaching booth onto the stage in his band Nuclear age with great results for such a young player, Stephens work ethic and practice has earned him this accolade for his work on a Sunday at our HQ while Fynnis only a few month into his lessons but is practicing hard and the results are really starting to show. This months drumstars were very difficult to choose however all three of this months winners have proved that if you practice your hard work really does pay off.

June 2011:
Our congratulations go out to Sunny Smith, Sean Thomas and Harry Nicol who have been named drumstars of the month for June
Sunny is Drumstars youngest pupil (6yr) and after getting to grips with basic hand patterns and rock grooves has started moving threw the rock school debut book with swagger and style, Sean is one of our longest standing pupils who is always impressing his teacher Phil especially of late while Harry from our Sunday lessons is one of the best players to attend and with a growth in confidence will be a real player in the game.

May 2011:
Our congratulations go out to James Harper, Adam Wright and Andrew Skelton who have been named drumstars of the month for May
James has been having lesson's with Wez now for a while and over the last month has made some huge steps forward. For a young player he is starting to show huge potential. Adam is some what of a multi instrumentalist and with piano under his belt he is now taking drumstars by storm and has impressed Phil no end in his lesson's. Finally Andrew has been with Amy for some while and with hard work both in his lesson's and at home he is by far one of our most improved and now consistent drumstars.

Our congratulations go out to Ben Scott, Joseph Maloneyand Joe Lamb who have all been named drumstars of the month for April
Ben and Joseph have only been taking lesson with us at drumstars for a month or so but have shown great talent and potential as a future drummers to watch while Joe has been with us a little longer, he listens, practices and always improves as a player week in week out and is becoming a fantastic young talent.
